How long delivery takes

Orders are processed within 24–48 hours (1–2 business days handling). Most packages then spend 5–8 business days in transit, for a typical total of 6–10 business days to most countries. Remote regions can take a little longer, and customs clearance times vary by destination.

What's not included

To keep our shipping promise honest, it helps to name each type of charge. Shipping is the transport cost of your parcel — free on orders over $38. Import duties (customs duty) are assessed by the destination country — covered on eligible shipping routes. Local taxes (VAT, GST, or sales tax) are set by your country, may still apply, and are separate from duties. Carrier customs handling fees are brokerage or fee-advancement charges applied by the delivery carrier — covered on eligible routes when supported by the shipment method. Buyer-caused costs are not covered — an incorrect or incomplete address, a refused or unclaimed parcel, redelivery or storage charges, a missing customs ID where one is required, special documents you request, or remote-area surcharges. Full details are in the Shipping & Return Policy.

What makes a shipment eligible?

Duty coverage depends on the destination country, the shipment route, whether the carrier supports duty-paid delivery, the order value, the customs classification of the items, local tax rules, and any import or tax information you provide at checkout. Where a route does not support duty-paid delivery, duties and carrier handling fees charged on delivery are the buyer's responsibility.

International shipping FAQ

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship mineral specimens from our available fulfillment locations, including China, the United States, and other regional dispatch points when available, with full tracking on every parcel. Most orders arrive within 6–10 business days.

How much does international shipping cost?

Shipping is free worldwide on orders over $38. For orders under $38, there is a single flat $5 shipping fee — the same rate to every country. The exact amount is always shown at checkout before you pay.

Will I have to pay import duties or customs fees?

For eligible shipping routes, standard import duties and standard carrier customs handling fees are covered when supported by the shipment method. Local taxes (VAT, GST, or sales tax) may still apply depending on your country and checkout settings — these are set by your local authorities and are separate from duties. Where a route does not support duty-paid delivery, duties and carrier handling fees are collected by the carrier on delivery.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed within 24–48 hours (1–2 business days handling). Most packages then arrive within 5–8 business days in transit, for a typical total of 6–10 business days worldwide. Remote regions can take a little longer.

How are specimens packed for international transit?

Every specimen is hand-wrapped, cushioned, and boxed to survive long-haul transit. Fragile crystals are floated in protective fill so points and terminations arrive intact.

What is not covered?

Local taxes set by your country, and buyer-caused costs — an incorrect or incomplete address, a refused or unclaimed parcel, redelivery or storage charges, a missing customs ID where one is required, or special documents you request — are not covered. Duty coverage itself depends on eligibility — see "What makes a shipment eligible?" above. See the full Shipping & Return Policy for details.
