Global shipping standards

We ship worldwide and process every order within 24–48 hours of payment. International delivery typically takes 7–10 business days depending on your location and local customs.

  • Free worldwide shipping on orders over $38 USD
  • Orders under $38: a flat $5 shipping fee worldwide, shown at checkout before payment
  • All orders are fully insured from dispatch to delivery
  • For eligible shipping routes, standard import duties and standard carrier customs handling fees are covered when supported by the shipment method
  • Local taxes such as VAT, GST, or sales tax may still apply depending on your country and checkout settings — these are set by your local authorities and are separate from duties
  • Every specimen is individually wrapped with protective packaging
  • Fragile items receive additional foam cushioning

Delivery timelines may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays. If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated window, please contact us and we'll investigate right away.

International duties & taxes

Free worldwide shipping on qualifying orders. For eligible shipping routes, My Mineral Box covers standard import duties and standard carrier customs handling fees when supported by the shipment method. Local taxes such as VAT, GST, or sales tax may still apply depending on your country and checkout settings — these are set by your local authorities and are separate from duties.

In this policy: shipping means the transport cost of your parcel; import duties (customs duty) means duty assessed by the destination country on imported goods; VAT / GST / sales tax means local consumption taxes set by your country; carrier customs handling fees means the customs brokerage, clearance, or fee-advancement charges applied by the delivery carrier; and buyer-caused charges means costs that arise from buyer errors or requests, listed below.

What makes a shipment eligible?

Duty coverage depends on the destination country, the shipment route, whether the carrier supports duty-paid delivery, the order value, the customs classification of the items, local tax rules, and any import or tax information you are asked to provide at checkout. Where a route does not support duty-paid delivery, duties and carrier handling fees charged on delivery are the buyer's responsibility.

To keep pricing fair for everyone, the following buyer-caused charges are not covered and remain the buyer's responsibility:

  • An incorrect or incomplete delivery address, or a package that is refused, unclaimed, or returned to us
  • Redelivery attempts, or storage / warehousing charges held by the carrier or customs
  • A missing tax or customs ID where your country requires one, or any special import documents or permits
  • Remote-area or out-of-zone surcharges applied by the carrier
  • Return shipping on change-of-mind (personal-preference) returns

Order tracking & updates

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use this to follow your shipment in real time through the carrier's website.

Return & refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Returns are accepted in the following cases:

  • The item is significantly different from its description or photos
  • Personal preference — within 14 days of delivery, item must be in original condition

The following items are generally not eligible for voluntary return:

  • Clearance or sale items may be excluded from voluntary returns where permitted by applicable law. This does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.
  • Gift cards
  • Items showing signs of use or damage caused after delivery

Return shipping, refunds & restocking

  • Return shipping costs: we cover return shipping when an item arrives damaged, is significantly different from its description, or is the wrong specimen. For personal-preference returns within the 14-day window, the buyer pays return shipping.
  • Refund method: approved refunds are issued back to your original payment method (Stripe / PayPal / credit card). Store credit is available on request if preferred.
  • Refund timing: once the returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.
  • Restocking fee: we do not charge a restocking fee on standard returns. Returns that arrive damaged due to inadequate packing may incur a fee proportional to the damage; we will notify you before applying any deduction.
  • Original shipping: original outbound shipping charges (when applicable on sub-$38 orders) are non-refundable on personal-preference returns; they are fully refunded on damaged, mis-described, or wrong-item returns.

How to initiate a return

Returns are straightforward. Follow these three steps and we'll guide you through the rest.

Send photos of the item
Attach clear photos showing the item's current condition. This helps us process your return quickly.

Receive return authorization
We'll review your request within 24 hours and send you a return label and full instructions.

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned item in its original condition.

Damaged & lost packages

All shipments are fully insured. If your package arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, we'll make it right — no questions asked.

  • Arrived damaged: contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll send a replacement or full refund
  • Lost in transit: we'll file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund
  • Stolen after delivery: contact us and we'll assess on a case-by-case basis
